COUNTRY MEAT - retail
We have the privilege to announce that our second venture with Country Meat Family Butcher & Deli has gotten underway and is due to be launched in Fourways towards the end of the year. DNA completed the first instillation in Kroonstad in 2012, although the development process began almost a year earlier. Within a month Country Meat became the talking point of the town and is now know and frequented by many outside of the FreeState. Quickly it became evident that Country Meat should develop into a national brand and launch a second store in Gauteng.
THE CLIENT BRIEF
A family butcher and deli that insures a journey throughout the entire store was critical to its owners. A definate fresh new look and feel to the current typical butchers which is inviting to its customers that says we sell a variety of quality products. A space that encourages browsing whilst waiting on your meat order, divided into a dedicated areas such as delicatessen, main butcher, frozen meat section hot food & snack deli, pause areas and retail style display areas. Not only did DNA ensure that the client objectives were met, their wishes fulfilled and their goals achieved. We pride ourselves in full design development and were involved in the marketing design process in regards to logo’s and icons.
This second store has a substantially bigger front of house which allowed us the opportunity to add a few extra client benefits. One of these is a wraparound wine rack with a selection of quality wines to compliment any meal selection. The open visual appeal was further enhanced by using below eye level shelving design throughout the store. Double volume space allows us to create an interesting floating ceiling detail with exposed areas and farm style trusses. Further complimentary extras included a deli to serve pre mad hot foods, sandwiches, pies, cakes and a selection of both cold and hot beverages. a couple of coffee tables allow the consumer to be seated, enjoy a snack or catch on the news whilst waiting on his or hers order.
